UH OH!! Saturday Weather Forecast for Coatesville

Hurricane forecasted to arrive in Coatesville, PA this Saturday afternoon/evening. It's been an outstanding week for weather. Best weather in 200 years, but too bad it has to end so badly, especially as Judie returns home from Mexico. Welcome Back, Mrs. Brown. Even though the weather will be REALLY LOUSY, your desk is pristine!

p.s. did I mention that Kohl's has a 100% off sale for the entire week, ending Saturday at noon?

Meet Joobie, Judie's Missing Twin!

Good Grief! Judie's long-lost and separated at birth twin, Joobie, finally discovered the whereabouts of her sister she has never seen. I had to tell her that unfortunately Mrs. Brown is away this week. However, I was able to get Joobie to pose for a picture. I gave her a hug and sent her away with a gift certificate for a super deluxe facial waxing. So sorry you missed her!!

Mystery Guest #4- Say hello to our little friend!

This little guy was crawling up Steven's leg, so we decided to given him the correct death...by stabbing! ha ha! We then proceeded to burn him...the most excitement of our Thursday night! :)

Thursday's Weather Report from Pennsylvania

OMG!!!  Today's weather is magical: 87 degrees, blindingly sunny and azure-blue sky. I just looked out the window at the most beautiful sight in the courtyard behind the library.  I saw two unicorns grazing on the beautiful butterfly bushes.  Too bad Judie missed this amazing sight.  I even got two wishes from the unicorns;I will be leaving for the French Riveria on Saturday!! Au revoir, Judie

Help Wanted..Library Secretary

The applicants for the library secretary position are coming out of the woodwork...in some cases coming out of the graveyard. Unfortunately, Mrs. Mochulski was terrible at the position. I'm interviewing candidates in case Mrs. Brown doesn't come back from Mexico. Her predecessor left on vacation and never returned so I'm gonna be prepared this time. I like this candidate, but she's a bit anorexic and awfully quiet, but so stylish. A lot like Judie, though, except for the quiet part.

Mystery Blogger #3

oh my, are you missing it...the main office was so full with drama this morning of all kinds....there is no need for reality television here. I walked in and saw the new library assistant at your desk-very tan so I guess she went to Mexico before you did. I hope that your weather is as great as ours...sunny all day and breezy wonderful nights here. I heard that the girls went out in your honor and had some new beverages that were so yummy. Too bad you missed it. The trip to the shore will be based on school attendance so you may not get to go. Oh Well. you decided to go to Mexico without us...you are gettin that tan for nothin girl! Love you and miss you. Hope you are having annual....well...you know.

Wednesday's Weather Report from Pennsylvania

Yet another fabulous weather day. Clear, robin's egg blue sky, 84 degrees and sunny. A little early for all those sunflowers, but I guess that's due to global warming. Heard a hurricane is heading for Cancun. Too bad, Judie.

The New Mrs. Brown?

For those of you following this blog, Mrs. Brown has not returned early from her vacation to Mexico. Although the Mexican sun has given her skin a deep, bronze glow (not to mention premature wrinkles, spots and skin cancer), the woman in this picture is NOT Mrs. Brown. This is Mrs. Holmes who is trying out for Mrs. Brown's position. Notice how hard she is working. Mrs. Brown could take a lesson or two from Mrs. Holmes.

Lonely Fruit Bowl- In Memory of Judie

Enough Said....

Missing Judie...MISSING FROGS!

Uh oh! I can't seem to find Heller and Haitz. Judie will be SO MAD. I wonder if they fell out when Mr. Heller accidentally tipped over their aquarium reaching for candy from Judie's desk drawer? Or possibly, since NO ONE IS FEEDING THEM, they shriveled up and died? Oh well, maybe I'll substitute a few frogs from the creek across the way. I'll tell her that the frogs had a giant growth spurt while she was in Mexico. She's a blonde; she will believe me.

Mystery Guest #2- Drama, Drama, Drama

Some people say my future sister-in-law is over the top!!! However, I have come to love her with ALL of her faults. She looks great in the dress SHE picked out and has lost so much weight. All because she really loves me; she's just a little cranky sometimes. After all, she IS Dom's sister. He makes me a little cranky too. Love and miss Judie, too.

Library Helpers...NOT helping!

Missing Judie so much. Her Library Helpers, although sweet, are really no help at all. Since Judie left for Mexico these so-called helpers bring their lunch into the library, making a mess and slobbering all over the table and never put one book away (except for Danielle). Judie will be so unhappy with me for letting them come, but what can I do?! They know I'm the nice one and Mrs. Brown is the mean one.

Tuesday's Weather Report from Pennsylvania

Sunny, dry, low 80's. Not a cloud in the sky. Check out the view from the Library windows!! Wish Judie were here to enjoy it.

Monday, May 2, 2011

Hi, this is Heather Mochulski, librarian secretary. While you were away, and since I have seniority, I was appointed the new library secretary. This title is not just for the week- it is permanent. How dare you leave Mrs. Kuhn- she is fragile, gets confused easily, and wants to take off every day this week. So, when you return you have two options:
1- retire
2- take the reading specialist position

Take your pick- both options are wonderful choices!

Perfect weather. Sunny, dry, low 80's. Rainbows abound at South Brandywine!!

Memories of Judie

This banana skin reminds me of Judie. Judie LOVES bananas and I think that's great. But what's not so great is that she frequently leaves the skins just laying around for me to find in some odd place. WHO DOES THAT?! I think I will leave this skin on her keyboard until she returns.

Mystery Guest 1- "Oh the cleaniness!"

Clothing is everywhere! :) Socks, they make a trail after the sneakers....who knew there would be 8 pairs in the kitchen already, and it's only MONDAY! ONE pair of sneakers were picked up near an appliance by one son and he said "oops shoulda put them outside" REALLY?! WOW! :) Love you!

Missing Judie!

It's the beginning of a week without Judie and I am already missing her even though her plane has yet to take off. I am dedicating this blog to keeping her updated on the happenings at South Brandywine in her absence--specifically the day-to-day drama of her friends and colleagues who will miss her as much as I do. Each day I intend to invite a mystery guest to post a message and or a picture for your enjoyment (and ours), so keep coming back to this blog. You won't regret it. Until we see you again, back from your Mexican holiday......
